About the Recipe
I love serving this at a party because it hits so many notes. Slightly smoky, crunchy, creamy, herby. It's easy to make ahead. For transparency, I developed this recipe in partnership with Bela Sardines through Cooked with Crafted Agency.
Ingredients
2ea Bela Sardines in extra virgin olive oil
3/4C sour cream
4oz cream cheese, softened
1Tbsp Dijon mustard
2Tbsp lemon juice
1/3C chives, chopped
1/2C dill, chopped
1Tsp salt
1/2Tsp black pepper
Potato chips
Preparation
1: In a bowl, whip together cream cheese ands sour cream until smooth. Add in lemon juice, Dijon, salt and pepper to combine. Next add in chopped dill and chives, stir to combine.
2: Using a fork, take the sardines out of the can and place into the dip. Mash with a fork into the dip and stir to combine. You can use the leftover olive oil from the can for cooking, salad dressing, drizzling on bread.
3: I love to serve this dip with kettle cooked potato chips but it is also great on toast or crackers. Enjoy!
